Fatteh with Hummus:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas (hummus)
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Pita bread or Arabic bread, toasted and broken into pieces
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix yogurt with minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, chopped parsley, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.
2. Arrange toasted pita bread pieces at the bottom of a serving dish.
3. Spread cooked chickpeas (hummus) over the toasted bread.
4. Pour the yogurt mixture over the chickpeas.
5. Drizzle with olive oil.
6. Garnish with additional chopped parsley.
7. Serve and enjoy!
Fatteh مع الحمص
Eggplant:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium eggplants, sliced into rounds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange eggplant slices on a baking sheet.
2. Drizzle eggplant slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
4. Once done, set aside for use in Fatteh.
باذنجان
Shrimp:
Ingredients:
- 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for seasoning
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Cook shrimp in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
4. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside for use in Fatteh.
